Worried senseless about mum

Hi
My mum is going in for a complex and lengthy operation soon and I'm actually sick with worry. Been on Google terrifying myself with scenarios of what can go wrong and the like which is silly I know. I love her to the end of the earth and want this to be over!!!

Hand hold here. Step away from google- and listen to the people treating your mum. They can give you the realistic outcomes and details. Try and distract yourself( easier said than done) and be strong for her.

Thank you. She's going in tomorrow morning for her op and they think it will be about 8 hours long. Cannot wait until it's all over xxx

Op successful but her blood pressure very low, just want her home for Xmas. Horrible to see her so vulnerable and helpless!!

Glad op went well. Hope she is picking up soon.
