I'm in England and trying to find out if the procedure for calling a case conference regarding the care of my husband's elderly grandmother is the same in Scotland as it is here in England.
Left a few voicemails with PASS but I was hoping that someone has experience of what needs doing so I can advise my MIL. My experience in England was I told the doctor on rounds that we wanted a case conference calling for my mother with her specialists, head of nursing on ward, physiotherapist and speech therapist and they organised it for us straight away.
I'm assuming it's the same process in that you need to advise doctors or the sister in charge of ward but need to give her as much info as possible as her stress levels are pretty high right now. Thank-you.
