Mum's in a care home, immobile, dementia - going to the shops isn't really an option.

Need to her her some new shoes. Where do I start looking?

Hotters They specialise in shoes for older people, very good about returns and do lots of widths.

I get my dads shoes (he has terribly swollen, painful feet) from Cosyfeet. All their shoes open very wide, so easy to get on someone elses feet.

Another recommendation for Cosyfeet - my 95-year-old MIL was delighted with her new shoes, which she found very comfy and gave her a good incentive to get back on her feet (as much as she is able) after a spell in hospital. They're also good for wide-fitting socks.
