Nursing home or live in nurse recommendation - West Yorks?

Hi - hoping someone can help. DF is terminally ill and needs nursing care (more than fast track can provide). Options are either a nurse at home or a nursing home, which he doesn't want. So - how do I go about recruiting a private nurse? Can anyone recommend any agencies? Or give any tips?

i have not been in this position but I would think contacting your nearest hospice or marie curie for recommendations would be a good place to start. Or maybe a social worker at your local hospital. If his prognosis is 3 months or less he should qualify for fast track continuing care and therefore paid nursing care whatever the setting (but you probably know this already).
