Other this whole business of having a father with alzheimers, I have come across many instances of people being unexpectedly tolerant and helpful. I don t mean professionals. Last week I visited dad who has been going through a restless stage for a good 18 months. He HAS to go out stamping the pavement several times a day. After walk around town no 2, I was ready to take hi home but he had other ideas. There is a little hairdressers at the end of his street, he just marched in. He sat down and the staff said hello whataboutbob s Dad, would you like a cup of tea? it transpires he pops in regularly. Even though they had customers in they were fine with it. He is also tolerated and helped in cafes ( despite often not paying, being dishevelled and rude to staff). I have put systems in place to make sure businesses get paid eventually, but even so.
Just wanted to pay tribute to the people out there who are being tolerant and supportive.
