Shoes for swollen feet!

my mum is 90 and her feet are always swollen from water retention. No normal shoes fit her now and she is so fussy about the type she wants. She is therefore wearing these old sandals with half her foot hanging out of each sandal. Any ideas where i could get some good shoes for her? Thanks.

I think my mum got some from padder's they had velcro fastenings and were adjustable.

Hotters or cosyfeet. Assume she has been to the doctors to see what they can do to reduce the swelling?

Thanks - I will try the suggestions. She is on water tablets but still has problems with feet and ankles swelling plus large bunions, but I will get her to mention it to her GP again next time she goes.

Try www.Roomyfeet.com as they do extra wide shoes at a cheap price and you can try before you buy. thx Rita

Thanks - I have already bought some from cosy feet now - extra roomy ones. They fitted perfectly and she really likes them, so that's one problem solved!
