need help with wigan primary schools???

Dont knwo if anyone can advise me im moving from scotland to england - platt bridge, wigan area - any advice or thoughts on local schools would be much appreciated. Been turned down for platt bridge community primary and as time is rushing on need anyoones thoughts on other local schools as at minute i only have ofsted reports to go on.

Holy Family is not a bad school and it is a feeder for an excellent high school - St.Edmund Arrowsmith - the only catch is that they are Catholic (I'm assuming you aren't?) but that doesn't necessarily mean you wont get a place. Just out of interest - why have you chosen Platt Bridge to live in?
My friend lives there - I'll ask her more info on other schools in the area.
