Scotland aswell - didn't break up until 1st July though...we win for shortest holiday

My teacher friend went back to school last monday, she works in Lancashire, something to do with factory shutdown. I didnt think that still existed.

factoury shut down is a still a popular thing in the midlands.

DD doesn't go back to school till spetember 7th

I go back to school on August 30 and dd goes back on Sept 1 which is really helpful.

ds broke up on 16th June and doesn't go back until 8th September (to different school) - do we win the longest summer holiday ?!

Aimsmum, yes, my kids dont come back until the 5th.

ds2 goes for a half day on 2rd and then the rest of school goes in on 5th

ds starts school on 6th but only half days and 1 full day a week until mid november, thats no more than playschool really thought her starting school would give me a break!
