My ds did his 11 + exam last September. He did really well and passed. Wanted to say though, although I know you are bound to be worried about it, don't let your children see that and definately don't push them too hard. I am saying this from the experience in ds's school. So many of the children had tutors to get them through the exams and their parents pushed them really hard. Only 5 of the 15 or so children at ds school passed and only one of these had a tutor.

The rest of us had the attitude that if you pass you pass, and it doesn't matter if you don't, you will have done the best you can. I think it made these children much more relaxed and stress free about the whole thing. If they are stressing about it, then the chances are on the day they will be stressing more. Just personal experience really.

Having said that, my son won't be taking his place at the fab grammar school he got into as we are moving in 2 weeks to an area without grammar schools!!

Good luck to all of the children taking the 11 + in the Autumn, I am sure they will all do brilliantly.
