Hi there, I know you posted this message over a year ago, but I was wondering if you were able to tell me a bit more about Deansfield. I would love for my son to go there next year, but I am not sure about distance from the school. How far away from the school do you live?
Many thanks in advance
Mel

Hi Mel,
I'm not the original poster but I heard from another mum from my daughter's school that the catchment area for the Sept 2011 reception intake was 0.4 miles. This particular mum lives 0.6 miles away and did not get in. If this is the case, the catchment area has dropped substantially since last year - I think it was around 1.1 miles for the Sept 2010 intake. How far away do you live?

This is probably also linked to the birthrate which has shot up hugely in this area. Im actually sidcup but all our schools distances have shrunk a lot this year as well.
Hope all bodes well for you.
