Kings College School Cambridge

I am at that stage of deciding which school might be best for my DS. Had a look at both St Johns and Kings and both are very nice but you just can't be sure of the pastoral care. Can anyone give me any idea how their child is doing. My DS is 8.

Well, I don't know anyone at Kings, but a friend's DDs are at St John's and it seems very good, with a strong emphasis on music, obviously, but also plenty of sport.

I have to say, I haven't heard a bad word about St Johns. They certainly seem more relaxed with the kids there.

There seems to be a good community / pastoral atmosphere at St Johns - one of the friend's DDs has a situation which might have caused bullying etc in a school without this, and I don't believe that bullying ever occurred.

What about The Perse?

Amp my ds is a chorister, i dont think Perse have such a scholarship.
