Any idea where I can find some good IT resources geared towards teaching Word.

GSP do a set of MS Office tutorial cd-roms which are quite good. DS has been using them and the Word cd covered:

Basics such as creating, opening, printing cut-and-paste, find and replace
Keyboard shortcuts, auto save
Formatting
Headers and footers, styles and templates, themes and hyperlinks
Tables
Pictures
Symbols, page numbering, mail merge

We bought a pack of five that included Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Vista and Outlook. I think it was about £30 for the set.
