My son had brain tumour at age of 3. he is 7 now but had intensive treatment which has left him with severe learning difficulties. I am interested in hearing from anyone who can guide / help to overcome his learning problems.

Hi,

Good idea to try the special needs board.

Have you heard of BIBIC?

They are a charity offering support/therapies for brain injured children. Quite a few MNs have used them.

I hope you find what you are looking for.

Thank you both, I have only discovered mumsnet today, I wish I had this when we were going through the treatment. I will go through special needs board. I will also contact BIBIC - none of the medical specialist have mentioned BIBIC. I just want to ensure that he becomes independant and achieves good quality of life.
