I have searched the internet and can't find any guidelines, anyone know a link to a site that mentions this??

Thanks so much!

There is no statutory requirement, although there are guidelines. KS1 recommends between 5 and 7 1/2 hours of literacy and around 3 3/4 hours of numeracy, KS2 is 5-7 1/2 and 4 1/4 and 5 respectively
You can download the document from
orderline.qcda.gov.uk/bookstore.asp?FO=1307426&Action=Book&ProductID=9781847210982&From =SearchResults
it's called Designing and timetabling the primary curriculum
