Help please can anyone advise me on schools in the Stratfield Saye area? Currently living oop narth. Strong possibility of moving south. Need to get three into schools. They are currently at village primary, but might be able to afford some private (dd 10) was going to go private at 11.
Any advise/ comments/ recommendations would be much appreciated. thanks

That is the wrong side of Reading for me,but I think your nearest State secondary would be Ryeish Green - think that has a good reputation?

Theale Green school has a load of it's pupils bused in from the surrounding country so that may be an option too?

Willink school is Burghfield way.

Avoid the Madejski Academy in Whitley at all costs, it has closed & re-opened at least 3 times now and never gets any better!

Bumping for you anyway.

Ryeish Green is closing down in the summer; don't know if that was your catchment school?
A lot of kids are being sent from there to Bulmershe, in Woodley, which would be quite a way for you. Find out whether you would be under Reading council, or Wokingham, as they are both covering parts of that area. Then look on their websites, as I think they both have catchment area maps on there.
