will post this in education and geeky stuff.

just wondering if there's any free downloadable paint-type software that's child-friendly. we use a little paint thing within wordpad which came with Windows (we don't have MS office, only Open office) but I was wondering if there's anything else available?

DD is starting to get interested in it. we made a picture of a robot

when I was younger I used CorelDraw, made some fantastic stuff on there but I'm guessing it's still expensive.

TIA

www.nga.gov/kids/kids.htm

This is a fab site with all sorts of interesting things to do. 'Brushter' is a paint-type programme on the site, and there's lots more!

Oh, and on the same site, you'll find 'paintbox' - for the younger children.
