I know a friend who has 'grammar/punctuation' names - apostrophes, semi-colons, paragraphs, commas etc....

Can anyone think of a reason not to go with the HP house names for my year 3 literacy groups?

eg the children all wanting to be in the HP house name and not the 'baddie' one IYSWIM?

our y2 teacher called his higher ability group Slytherin and his lower ability group Griffindor

What about planet names?
Must say, as the names are for literacy groups, i'd go for author names.

While we're on the subject, has anyone got ay inspiring ideas for names for Y3 numeracy groups?
