Guess who nearly forgot to return the 'acceptance' for their child's secondary place??

And a reminder if you haven't done it yet!

OMG. Remembered at 7.35am today. BUT thing is, we've moved since we applied. We got an email offer on March 1st, saying they'd post out the offer and acceptance slip for us to return.... but of course, guess who forgot to tell the LEA we'd moved?

Cue DH dashing to old house to see if the new tenants had been as lax as to not have got around to sending the letter back to the LEA which was indeed the case BUT imagine the trembling hands as he opened it to see if we'd been given 10 days to respond in? Here on Day 12?

SO I filled it in and drove over to the secondary and handed it over personally.

That was bloody close and would have constituted a 1/3 of a million quid mistake as that's what a house IN this catchment costs.
