Tutors...and where to find them

Hello All, I am a new member to Mumsnet and am wanting to pick your brains please. I have a 9 year old who is in Year 5. I want to help him prepare for the 11+ Entrance Exams and would like to obtain a tutor for him, I would want the tutor to cover all elements of the 11+ if possible. I live in the NW area of London and would be willing to travel a reasonable distance to the tutor or for them to come to me. My questions is: has anyone else gone down the tutor route? If so, where did you find them - agencies, recommendations? I have checked the internet and it all seems a bit of pot luck. I am not sure I want someone to have access to my son who is more interested in their fee than my son's education. Friends are not a great deal of help as they have not gone to tutors. Any advice, recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks,
