March 31st I believe.

Some universities do leave it very late -DS didn't get his offer from Warwick (where he eventually went) till almost the end of March.

As long as you applied before the 15th Jan Universities have to let you know their decisions by the 7th May otherwise UCAS make them unsuccessful on their behalf.

7th of May

I like rustybears end of march better

Yes it is a bit of a long wait isn't it!? Hopefully you'll have all heard before then.

I just chased my Uni application - rang the admissions dept. I've been told I should hear by the end of this week!

Fingers crossed!

Some leave it very late. DD only had her S'hampton interview (and subsequent offer) last week. If worried might be worth a letter to the admissions tutor? Uni's have been swamped -again - with applications so think they're battling against the tide.

She phoned over a week ago and was told it was still being processed and could be 3 weeks.

The UCAS website says: If we received your application:
-on or before 15 January, we ask universities and colleges to send us their decision by the end of March. Some of them do not always achieve this, especially on popular courses, so the latest you could receive their decision is early May
-after 15 January, your universities or colleges could take as long as July to make their decisions.

So it would appear there is no actual cut off date set in stone!

good luck MrsFlittersnoop !
