Where to send my son?

Hi,

My little man wil be 2 next week and I am now really starting to look at schools. I live in Stoke Newington, and although there are a few good state schools in the area, im not going to rely on him getting into them so considering going private. The lyceum is one, but may have left it late to get his name down, does anyone have any others in mind

Haven't a clue about private, but I'd say stick with state, he'll have lots of lovely local mates and you should be able to work out if you'll get into your local preferred school or not if you do your homework.

I have done my homework, and if I go by the experience I did with my first son, then I know where this son will end up, and that is an experience I do not want to repeat.

Ah, that's a shame. There's some very lovely schools in N16. So did you privately educate your first son too?
