I have just returned from my dd Y2 leavers assembly and just had to share it with you all.

They put on such a great performance it was lovely. Apart from other things they were talking about what they have done over the past year and spoke about red nose day, they followed this by all singing 'from a distance' it was the most beasutiful thing I have ever heard, 50 children singing that song, half the audience including me shed a number of tears.

The headteacher of the Junior school then came along and presented them all with a mug with the school name and year. I can't believe my little girl is growing up.

I think these moments are fantastic! You must be very proud.

I attended our school PRIZE GIVING on Tuesday, got to sit at the front facing the children instead of my normal seat behind the children facing forward. The childrens faces as were a sight to behold.. DS1 winked at me for nearly 2 hours
