IEP review meeting

This is the first time I have placed a message so please bare with me.
My husband and I are do to attend a meeting on Tuesday to discuss my DD's IEP. At every meeting we are told she is making progress in her reading and literacy but we have never seen any written evidence to prove she is receiving the support she is supposed to get. She is supposed to receive one to one support three times a week but if you ask my daughter she will tell you this rarely happens. When we have mentioned this at previous meetings we have been told "she is only 8 she must have forgotten." She is also supposed to be heard read as often as possible but has only had her diary signed 13 times in 19 weeks and only once by a qualified teacher.
Can anyone tell me what paperwork the school is supposed to complete to show they are forfilling their side of the IEP and whether we are entitled to request to see it. Also am I being unreasonable to expect my daughter to be listened to more often with her reading.

I am not an expert on this. Hopefully soemone who is can give you more information but knowing the ways schools work I would assume that her one to one time was the same every week. Ask what days and times it is. If they are vague then get more pointed. Ask questions such as "if we provide a diary can the person wrire one sentence at the end describing what bthey have done" so you can reinforce at home of course if they ask why!

Be polite but blunt about the reading diary and ask them the question you have put above.

Good luck, hope it goes well

Thanks mnistooaddictive
When we asked at a previous meeting which days she would have her one to one they said it would be during assembly and it would depend on what was happening in assembly each week as to which days she was taken out. However I like your idea of a diary and will definately be putting that idea forward!

Thanks again
