Long Shot - Girls Schools Near Shrewsbury

I know this is a very long shot but we may be moving to the Shrewsbury area. I am looking for a girls school that goes up to senior school. I can only find the GDST school in Shrewsbury and a school just outside Shrewsbury called Adcote which does not look like it has very good academics but looks very friendly as far as I can see on the website . Does anyone have experience of either of these schools or any other schools in the area?

No personal experience but a friend's daughter moved to Shrewsbury School at about age 7 (from local primary) and she is very pleased with it. She's now yr 5. I don't have any knowledge of Adcote.

Friends daughter goes to Shrewsbury High (still in Prep) and loves it. If you are not completely tied to Shrewsbury there are Moreton Hall, Ellesmere College and Oswestry School.
