Catchment areas for primary schools in Wandsworth

Hi

I'm new to Mumsnet so apologies if I'm asking a question that has been covered many times before (and if so, please feel free to send me the link to the relevant threads) but can anyone tell me where I can find information online for catchment areas for primary schools in Wandsworth? I have come across the Good Schools Guide but you have to pay to access their catchment info.

Many thanks Mums!

hi there

you need to look through this www.wandsworth.gov.uk/downloads/file/2154/choose_a_wandsworth_primary_school_2010 which lists everything you need to know about schools in Wandsworth, including catchments for Sept 2010 intake.

Fantastic! - thank you. I'd actually downloaded this earlier when browsing the net but hadn't yet printed it off to notice it had that info. Sorry for troubling you all!

As well as finding our catchment area, you also need to find out what the actual area of intake is for each school. Wandsworth publish a booklet for primary applications and it gives this information in the book. For example, the actual intake for our school was about 500 metres I believe, because of so many kids living close to the school applying. HTH.
