Boys prep schools in/near NW10

A friend has just moved to NW10 near Kensal Rise and is looking at what are the best pre-prep/prep schools nearby for her DS who will be going into reception in Sept.

She has heard of the New Model School and also Lloyd Williamson School. We'd love to find something out about these schools.

Any thoughts are much appreciated as it's not an area that I know at all!

Those are not schools I know. People living in that area who want private prep schools either go to the hampstead ones or those in Notting hill/kensington/holland park.

Thanks Lazymum - which ones in Notting Hill etc are good ones to look at? Think Kensington might be too far for her.

I think people use Nottinghill prep (relatively new), wetherby, norland place. Can't give any detail though cos the kids Iknew at some of those are at university now and schools change enormously. Hopefully, someone with more recent experience will post.

Bassett House School - North Kensington - supposed to be quite good.
