Academic interview

My son has been asked to attend a second interview for an independent school having sat the all day exam. This tells us that he is currently borderline. Any tips on how independent schools tend to conduct these? Many thanks

11+ or 13+? It'll probably be a chat about his interests and aspirations.

My DD was interviewed when she changed schools at 16+ and they asked her about her views on a couple of current issues (Iraq war was one of them I remember). She was also asked if she read a newspaper or magazines and what they were, what kind of books she like reading, any sport that she followed as a fan etc etc.
