Regarding transfer to the good North London grammar schools (various in Barnet, Enfield, Camden), I keep hearing nightmare stories of bright kids being tutored for years and then still missing out on places to kids moving out of private schools into the state grammar sector.
Is this actually an urban myth or do most children in the good grammar schools come from the private sector?
