Dear all,

I am new here and nice to see you all.

I am currently living in UK under limited leave to remain visa. My child was born in UK last year and we are Malaysian.

I would like to ask, can my child study in state shool?

As far as I kno all children who live in Britain (permanently or not) are entitled to attend state schools. You could give your local council a ring - they should have someone who deals with questions like this

If you are on a LTR visa, you can use the full range of public services, including state schools.

I imagine your DC is a British citizen, being born to a LTR parent.
