bring snacking back to the classroom

My daughter is not allowed to eat in class, except for fruit at a strictly designated time.

I say it's politically correct health and safety GONE MAD and she should be allowed to eat something hearty like a proper British pork pie, not one of your bleeding heart liberal apples.

oh yes, definitely.

(what's this about, then? )

notanun · 15/12/2009 13:47

I'm sick of grown apple eaters in today's society. If we'd get back to faggots and tripe in the classroom, there'd be none of this leftie fruit crap. The prisons are full of veg munchers.

I pay my taxes, I know my rights.

Kathyis12feethighandbites · 15/12/2009 13:50

You're a perv. You're just sitting there fantasising about little clean white milk teeth biting down into a greasy, gristle-laden pie.

OtterInaSkoda · 15/12/2009 14:50

I would have to send ds in with a list of what he can and cannot eat. Such as tartazine. And otters' noses. And Skoda badges.

Snacking in the classroom is barbaric imo.

Ohhhh....snacking!

Phew.

Don't get me started on school snack policies. Our school has a healthy snack policy. This prohibits Nutella, anything that may have a trace of chocolate in it and home-made baked goods. Luckily, they allow plenty of crisps, salty pretzels and those weird sausage like things (whose contents should not be read before a meal).

Good preparation for university ime. Only way I can ever get any lunch - let alone the students - now that ever-increasing pressure, combined with every-decreasing staff means that we teach right through the lunch hour.

I really fancy a pork pie now! Can't remember when I last had one and certainly wasn't thinking about one. It's your fault,SnotChristmas .

At my DCs' school they can bring in roast dinners to eat during story time if they want. You just need to make sure that the gravy is clearly named.

maybe I should put some Jamie Oliver and Nigella Lawson style gastro porn clips on here to further add to this smack/snap parallel thread.

I do love a good hard snacking lol
