I know this is really a local matter, but I'm hoping to catch any lurking Suffolk Mumsnetters!
There was a meeting today at Boxford Primary to gauge support for turning Stoke By Nayland Middle into a High School, much like Hadleigh High. This is a new idea, literally thought of this week, and I know lots of support/help/advice will be needed. If anyone can offer any of these things, or if you just want to know more, please email [email protected].
Even if you can't help, please make your voice heard! Consultations on the Schools Review close on 15th December, and if we don't make it clear that we'd like the Local Authority to consider this as an option before that cutoff date, then we're stuck with whatever Suffolk CC impose on us. Tim Yeo was at the meeting today and is giving his full support, as well as practical advice (he's also involved in the ongoing campaign at Clare Middle School). You can make your voice on the schools review heard here, and as more information is made available on what is planned by the action group I will post it here.
We're not just looking for parents' views, anyone in the local community is entitled to have their say, so please help to spread the word!
Thank you!
