A very long shot but does anybody know anything about a new nursery that is being built in Cheadle, from what I've heard it's near John Lewis?

Manc mum, the others I'm going to visit next week are all more like £28 a day, so not quite £400 a month, sorry!

Hi Homemama

Jenny (the director) is lovely and answered all our questions, very down to earth. They really have thought of absolutely everything. The purposebuilt building is fantastic (had a look round even though it's not finished), reception, one way mirrored glass, age specific outdoor areas etc. The only thing was the proximity to the A34, very noisy outside on one side of the building. I suppose that will get better once trees are planted though. 3:1 staff with up to 2 year olds, and all but 2 qualified, much better than I've seen everywhere else. All food is cooked on site, healthy approach sounds really good. Approach to learning (play-based) sounded really good, more than anything I just could just imagine ds having lots of fun there. The one thing that really stood out was how passionate about the whole thing she was, she really wouldn't take second best on anything.

Needless to say I've paid the deposit and booked him in 2 days a week!

Sounds fantastic. Thanks for getting back to me. I was really hoping she would care about the whole ethos rather than just be in it for the fees.
I want my DS to go for a couple of mornings a week too.
