Why would OFSTED inspect a school 8 months after last one?

One that saw mostly good and satisfactory ratings. School informed Friday and inspectors in monday and no parental input requested.
Just curious as not heard on the grapevine of any possible trouble. Any ideas?

It's a specific subject inspection. Or an inspection of the Foundation stage. These occur in between ordinary inspections and don;t require parental input. Nothing sinister!

That's reassuring then it's a secondary school so from what dd said I think it may be maths that's being looked at or possibly yr7.
