You helped me understand what teachers really meant when they described DS as willful....now I'd like to know what they mean when they say DD (4.3, just started reception) is a "card".

It's said with a wry smile, but DH suspects it's not all positve.

I'd guess it meant she has a good sense of humour, and quite a strong, fun personality.

I'd agree.

I'd say the same, but perhaps with a slight overtone of "not always deployed at the appropriate moment".

It is positive just needs to be reined in at inapprpriate moments.

You should hear what we have been told about our 4 year old.

I agree with the above - fun, good value, entertaining, jolly etc. I love to have 'cards' in my class
