Calling all teachers. Question about PPA.

Anyone have any definitive knowledge about how much PPA time a part-time teacher doing 0.6 hrs should have each week? And whether "after-school" time counts in the allocation?

And also, if we're s'posed to have it on weeks when there's an INSET or occasional day?

The other thing, of course, is that 2 years ago, a colleague and I both got an afternoon every week all year. I'm sure I read yesterday that once excess has been awarded, it can't then be retracted.

REALLY don't fancy passing tha one on to the Head. If, indeed, it's true!

You need to talk to your union.

I work 2 days a week. I get 1 hour and 45 mins per fortnight, (which is a whole afternoon at my school) and then the other 15 mins is rolled over until there is enough to make up another afternoon.
