My dd has got 5's for English and Science and 4 for Maths.

They are not broken down any other way as I have seen people talk about on here into a b or c.

It is just plain 5's and 4.

Is that normal?

What year is she in?
If end of year 6, usually the 4 is given with a sublevel, but not the 5.
Great scores! Well done your DD.

DD's Primary only gave the actually levels and not a sub level. Well done your DD

Thank you!

She has been getting bullied at school by her so called 2 best friends, who then went and locked themselves in a toilet for most of guides last night, so she couldn't be included. (The guide leader is not very efficient and didn't even notice the 2 of them were missing out of the hall!). This has been a major boost to her confidence today.

She is in year 6, the 4 for Maths wasn't given a sublevel.

The SATs are reported as simply a straight 3, 4 or 5 - that is how they are returned on the marksheet, too, although with a raw score to go with it, so teachers can surmise which are 4cs, 4bs, etc.

The school's teacher assessments will be broken down into a sublevel. and reported as such.
