A book that recommends / reviews state schools?

I know there is the 'Good Schools Guide', but that seems quite heavily biased towards independents, as (obviously) there is Ofsted. But is there a book that lists/recommends good state secondaries / grammers?

The state secondaries / grammars that are listed in the GSG are the best ones, so you effectively have a shortlist already.
