I work part-time & often don't know what my hours are likely to be until the 2nd or 3rd week of term. Have been waiting for a kids club place for one night a week since Christmas .
Is this normal? I thought the government wanted to provide after school care for everybody that wanted it! We have managed to get an 'emergency' place on a different night that we needed, but this could change as soon as somebody from the waiting list wants it
Just wondering what our rights are before I tackle the head about it. Can you ask for more places to be provided if there is a need?
