Can adults take IGCSEs?

Hi,

I'm just wondering.... i had wanted to do my GCSEs, but the online courses are soooo expensive. Would I be able to do the IGCSEs instead so I wouldn't do the coursework? Do I need to have any other exams before IGCSE or can I just register for them?
