Hi please forgive me for being thick but yr 3 DS has come home with patters in nine homework. Two columns to complete first column with the heading nines. In this column the numbers 9,18.27,36 are shown and you have to complete the pattern to 180 which is easy. In the second column it heads digit total and the number 9 is shown in the next two rows and I don't understand what the pattern should be. Hope I have made myself understood and would appreciate any help.

Add up the two digits in the other column

9 = 9
1+8 = 9
2+7 = 9

They will all eb 9. They are teaching your DS that the digits in all multiples of 9 = 9.
