The one in Cricklade?
I don't have personal experience except from knowing someone who atends and they are happy with all aspects of the school.

Bumping for you!

lorry12 · 07/04/2009 20:19

Thanks for your reply, yes the one in Cricklade. We are living overseas and with 5 schools under his belt our DS will be boarding.

bumping for more first hand knowledge.

wannaBe · 08/04/2009 11:08

the daughter of one of my mum's colleagues goes there.

She is very happy with it but it does cost something like 5 grand a term, and once they go to secondary the feeder school is in Bath and is boarding.

MrsWeasley · 08/04/2009 11:16

Thanks,
Anyone else have first hand knowledge they would like to share?

slummymummy36 · 08/04/2009 11:39

I viewed the school about 3 years ago when looking for a BS for our DD.

It seemed really lovely. Thought the secret motion sensors outside the kids dorms at night were abit OTT but overall was impressed. The school has a very very catholic ethos ( although does accept children from all demoniations). Because we are not a catholic family, we opted for another school in the end.

slummymummy36 · 08/04/2009 11:40

Would also like to add. I know many families who have sent their children to the feeder senior school in Bath and speak very very highly of it.

denominations!!! sorry for my typos!!

MrsWeasley · 08/04/2009 11:51

Thanks. Anyone else?

I am going to keep bumping this one as I am nosey interested too.

bumping again

frogs · 10/04/2009 19:06

MrsW, I know some local Mners were not impressed. PPH, possibly? You might want to search the archives, can't remember the reasons for it.

MrsWeasley · 11/04/2009 17:52

oh thank you frogs.

MrsWeasley · 11/04/2009 17:59

Lorry12: this might be worth a read

Many thanks for keeping this going. I have been away hence not answering any replies. We have seen the school and are happy but it is such a big decision to make. We will be abroad when DS starts so any info is great.
