At my childs school - St Andrews, Ecton Brook, Northampton. The County council are running a free numeracy course - with a free crech. This course runs 9.30-11.30 Thursdays and it is informing us of how schools now today teach numeracy so that we can understand it in order to then be able to help our children.
In went today and am so glad i did as they use such differnt terminology to when i learnt.
