Wish me luck! (Why did I ever become a school governor?)

Didn't know whether to put this in 'chat' but it is an education subject.

I'm a governor at dd's school and we've got the wonderful people from Ofsted visiting this week. I've got to go to a meeting tonight and get grilled and tortured. Not looking forward to it at all ... absolutely dreading it.

Any tips? I'm Literacy Governor and I know damn well I'm going to be taken aside for a 'private session' - just been re-writing my notes out - neatly this time!

I'm just terrified of saying the wrong thing.

Good luck and good for you for volunteering for this important job. I am sure you will be fine but I'd be bricking it too

well done for being a governor. I've done that. It's a lot of work, but so worth it. I think that you'll be fine. Good luck with it.

Sorry, no helpful advice. Just lots of best wishes
