Typing course recommendation please!

I'm trying to find some kind of typing course for my teenage DC. So much schoolwork needs to be typed now and at the moment the choice is either me typing it quickly for them or them doing it themselves, painfully slowly.

Can anyone recommend a course they can do, preferably at home from a disk or online - pleeeease !

It may be a bit (well very) young for your teenage DC but my 10 dd and 12 ds year olds are 2/3 of the way through Pica and it's very good. They have friends who have done it and can touch type with ease now. It's not cheap - ~£115 but this is for 100 lessons over 20 weeks with a test once a week which they get feedback on. It's quite an investment in money and time but we figured it will be one of the most useful things they'll learn.

The keyboard is gradually covered up with coloured stickers - nightmare for dh and me - had to find a spare keyboard .

They did Dance Mat typing (BBC?) at school but it didn't give them the same motivation to carry on.

Good luck with your search.
