Phone call from the council access team - what might this mean?

Dd1 didn't get our first choice of secondary school but we are number one on the waiting list. I've just found a voicemail on my mobile asking me to call the access team about her school place - that's all it said. It was left this morning when I was at work - they didn't ring me at work despite me giving them the number last week!

Is it possible a place has come free already?

If that is it they won't have offered it to anybody else will they - they would wait to hear from us wouldn't they?

What else could it be about?

How am I going to forget about this till tomorrow???

Aaaaaargh!!!

All I know is they can't offer it to anyone else until they hear from you... or don't hear from you in specified amount of time.

Oh thanks! I'm guessing we'd get at least 24 hours so that's a weighht off my mind - if it is that!

She was thrilled - then burst into tears - which surprised us both. I didn't know how much it meant to her - and neither did she I think! Very happy house here
