Dd and ds's school have decided to allow children to accessorise/wear 1 red item for comic releif. However their uniform is red anyway. Grey pinafore/trousers. White shirt, red tie and red jumper.

Dd is allergic to face paint. What can I send her in? And what about ds?

red hats/wigs?

abbierhodes · 08/03/2009 21:12

How about those red 'bopper' things for her head? they're being sold specifically for comic relief at sainsburys.

chatee · 08/03/2009 21:12

red hairspray? ott bobbles in hair(red of course!)

janeite · 08/03/2009 21:14

Lots and lots of tiny plaits, each with a red hair ribbon. Boppers sound good too!

Nemoandthefishes · 08/03/2009 21:18

DS school is doing the same he has decided on red trainers

Claire's Accessories have fab sparkly cowgirl hats atm.
And you might find a red bandana for DS in a fancy dress shop.

islandofsodor · 08/03/2009 21:25

I've got umpteen red bandanas (pirate part accessories)

Boppers sound good, think dd would like them.

I do have a red feather boa that was part of a costume but it REALLY leaks feathers EEVRYWHERE

fridayschild · 11/03/2009 13:58

red socks? or a red shirt/trousers for a change?

islandofsodor · 11/03/2009 15:35

I do have a very sparkly red tailcoat. It's age 12 and dd is 7 but maybe it would fit.

Ruby slippers so she can spend whole day saying "there's no place like home..."

islandofsodor · 11/03/2009 16:02

Red hair is out as she is performing in a local festival the next day and in a concert on Sunday so can't risk it not coming out.

She wants to wear a plastic ring with a red stone?????????????

When I read the thread title I thought it meant how would the parent match handbag and shoes etc to child's clothes and then thought ''surely not - what mumsnetter would admit to that dilemma''
