I'm considering an 11+ tutor - where do I find one?

Can anyone recomend a good website that might have some? Word of mouth hasn't worked as the ones my friends are using are all full.

And how much is the going rate?

Where are you? I know some in East Kent.

MrsStig · 05/03/2009 14:07

Near Rugby- so a bit far, but thankyou anyway.

What about usual tutoring companies? There are always a few adds in the back of our local paper. A lot of people get relevant past papers and do it themselves according to that link I emailed you.

I think I've managed to findsome one (frist tutors I think) The adds in the paper have only been for other subjects - there is a very high demand for 11+ tutoring around here.
DS is refusing to work with me, but hopefully will be more cooperative with someone else.

Round our way rate is £30-35 pounds. It will depend on whether the tutor is private or an agency on in which case they may have to give 20% to the agency so may charge more.
