weighing between two options - what do I do?

offer letters in this morning - ds received two offers. St Albans boys sch and St Columba's. Don't know what to do. St Albans better in the academic league tables but St Columba's big on pastoral care and do reasonably well too.

What would you do?

You have to decide what is right for your child.

I suggest going for another look at each school, with DS in tow if he hasn't already done so.

I think another visit to both is in order too.
Do you know other pupils who go to either school? Could you meet any of them and ask for the low-down?

thanks for the idea to visit both schools again. I think it is called for. Ds is thinking of St C because all the staff were friendly and their sports facilities. Ds found St A quite stiff though they took to him at both interviews.
