Hi all
Have any of you embarked on a college course that you have found truly enjoyable and worthwhile? As a new lone parent, currently on Income Support, I feel I should get out there and do something useful at the same time as looking for a job. Don't really want anything that might involve too much extra-curricular home study, as am now mum and dad to two dc's and they need my attention right now. But while they are at school, I could be using that valuable time to fill my otherwise lonely days.
All suggestions welcome.

useful skills I keep meaning to learn are cake decorating and dress-making so I can tackle elaborate birthday cakes and costumes for school plays with confidence
