Hi Moosh
I home ed 2 teenagers and have used various different home learning courses for them to do their exams.
At the moment we are using ICS for German gcse, Oxford Home learning for Maths gcse and last year used NEC.
I have to say ICS have been rubbish, the worst of the 3 and I could not recommend them for the following reasons.

  1. we have never been given any info on the supposed tutor. She marks the sent in assesments but we dont know her name, andything about her and she more importantly does not know my child and has no clue she is only 13.
  2. Lack of communication and info on how to organsise the actual exam big time.
  3. On their website they promised they would be able to find an exam center for customers- even saying it would be within 4 miles of your home. When it came to it and i phoned to ask them to do so, they acted as if this was not, and had never been there policy. GRR

I would recommend Oxford home learning as they have been excellent. NEC were also a bit dodgy but may have just been bad luck ; (

Hope that helps

Depends what you want to study. They do childcare course that as Aimsmum said, the certificate is not worth the paper its written on.

Check what qualification you will get and if it will be recognised.
